Energy Simulation or Energy Modeling is the process of building a virtual building to analyze the how the building uses energy. This process is used for LEED submissions, Energy Studies “Audits”, projecting energy consumption/cost and many others.

The key to a successful energy modeling process is experience! Energy modeling is more of an art than science. It requires deep understanding of the building operation, interaction between systems and the client’s goal of performing a simulation.
