EA Energy partnered with Ohio State University and Barton Malow to provide LEED Consultation on the upgrades to the Ty Tucker Tennis Facility. Specifically, EA Energy helped document the required construction credits for LEED.
We pride ourselves on projects like this one, because it can be hard to achieve LEED credits due to the lack of overall materials used for large open spaces. Because the tennis courts themselves take up so much space, there isn’t much left of the facility to qualify for LEED credits, but we were able to make it work.
We ended up working through the construction credit documentation and getting the credits needed for BPDOs Option 2! This project is still in its final stages, so the final LEED certification level has not yet been determined.
